The next Philly Comix Jam meet-up will take place on Tuesday, October 29th!

Everyone is welcome to join - to draw, to talk comics, or just to hang out! Feel free to forward this along to anyone you think would feel right at home at the jam.

This is also right before Halloween, so we encourage you to bring the spooky… 🎃

Philly’s current premiere indie comics fest, Philly Comics Expo is going to be bigger and better than ever! Powered by the great folks at Partners & Son. Visit the show at its new (indoor!) location and say hi to all the friendly and grizzled faces selling their wares on Saturday, October 12th! Learn more at partnersandson.com.

Opening the same weekend as PCX, see an unprecedented collection of local indie comics talent at the Drexel’s Pearlstein gallery exhibition: Philly Comics Now. Featuring original artwork and displays from 60+ cartoonists (a bunch of jammers!), including immersive installations and a reading room. Open from October 13th - December 14th. More about Philly Comix Jam:

• Bring a pen and pencil ✍️

• Paper is provided! 📜

• The monthly meeting of a loose gathering of greater Philadelphian comickers who draw jam comics and kibitz.

• Jam comix in the “exquisite corpse” style where one artist draws a panel, then passes the page to someone else until the page is finished. (Write your name and the date on the back of the page so we know who drew what!)

• Outside work is also encouraged to be brought as many artists enjoy the company while working.
